quarantine quilt

the quilt was an act of unity during the 2020 lockdown with over 100 participants from around the world.

rachel initiated this project with a poem and facilitated it over the internet through the covid 19 lockdown alongside emma slade edmundson and kathleen nellis. 

it is a very special piece of work for soft tissue and allowed their skills to be used in new ways and to build new networks.

the quilt was exhibited at the mac centre in belfast and will be exhibited in london in spring 2023 as part of a celebratory weekend to mark this shared accomplishment.
